i feel like it’s come to a point where there’s so much collaborating and featuring going on that not too many people have their own identity. how many songs have chris brown, or nicki minaj, meek mills, tyga, and now 2chainz as a feature. over the past couple years it’s dawned on me more and more the “music industry” is filled with a bunch of lame ass people who’ve managed to produce either a good song or a good video or a good album. and that’s as far as it goes… everyone just wants to work with whoever’s “hot”, and that’s lame as fuck. there’s this false identity of brotherhood with anyone with a little status. fuck that, you’re not my brother and just because we’re on some of the same platforms doesn’t mean i want to work with you. all these weak ass collabs floating around no soul or chemistry in it at all… it sucks everything’s so much more about numbers and strategy and business and blah blah blah, it’s rare that there’s actually people more about creativity and expression. it’s something like 90 percent of the music on the radio is about sex, if that’s all we can conjure up to represent who are as people then that’s just weak. same ol same ol, i’m just ranting

what does it mean when your dreams become vivid, so much so that each morning you wake up and think damn that wasn’t real. i haven’t had nightmares in years, but in my dreams i have turmoil and when i wake up it’s just like shit i got out of that one safe. but when positivity occurs it’s so real and believable i can’t hep but smile and great the new day with open arms. for the longest time i couldn’t remember any of my dreams, i feel blessed and fortunate to be able to remember them now. hopefully this stays for a while. i think i’ve come to the conclusion that sleeping in my own bed is one of my favorite feelings ever. especially those comforting moments when you know sleep is right around the corner and that’s all that really matters to you. your whole body mind and spirit immersed in this pillow made of nothing but pleasure and content
